❤️ Ask Every Google Reviewer for a Referral
Click here to watch brief tutorial video on how to setup the Referral Request workflow
Your happiest patients are your best source of new business. This workflow is designed to capitalize on the positive momentum of a great review by asking that patient if they know anyone else who needs your help.
How it Works
1. The Trigger: A 4 or 5-Star Review The workflow automatically listens for new Google Reviews. It filters the incoming reviews to ensure we only target positive experiences.
- 1-3 Stars: Ignored (we don't want to ask unhappy patients for referrals).
- 4-5 Stars: Added to the workflow immediately.
2. The Wait Period (35 Days) We don't want to overwhelm the patient immediately after they leave a review. The system waits 35 days to let the interaction breathe.
3. The Request (SMS) After the wait period, the system sends a casual, friendly SMS:
"Hey [Name], thanks for that review! We loved it. Are you willing to become a fan and refer us to a friend or family member?"
Important: The "Looping" Feature
By default, this workflow is set up to be continuous.
- After sending the SMS, the system waits 90 days.
- It then loops back to the top (Wait 35 days) and repeats the process.
How to stop the loop (Ask Once Only): If you prefer to ask for a referral only one time, simply scroll to the bottom of the workflow builder and delete the final "Go To" action. This ensures the patient finishes the workflow after the first message.
How to Activate
- Review the SMS wording to ensure it matches your voice.
- Toggle the switch in the top right corner from Draft to Publish.
