This is one of the easiest "quick wins" you can set up for your clinic. Since our system automatically syncs your patient data from JaneApp—including names and birthdates—you can trigger a personalized celebration message without lifting a finger.

How the Logic Works

You might notice the trigger is set to "1 Day Before Birthday." This is intentional.

• The Problem: If we trigger on the "Day of Birthday," computers often recognize that moment as 12:00 AM (Midnight). We definitely don't want to wake your patients up!

  The Solution:

  1. Trigger: The system detects the birthday is coming up tomorrow.
  2. Wait Step: It waits exactly 1 Day (bringing us to the birthday morning).
  3. Send Time: We restrict the sending window to 9:00 AM, ensuring the message arrives at a polite time.

How to Setup

1. Open the Workflow: Navigate to the General Communication folder.

   Edit the SMS: Click on the SMS step.

   • Note: The default template might contain a reference to a "bone" (a joke for Chiropractors). If you are not a Chiropractor, please delete or edit this sentence!
2. Publish: Toggle the switch in the top right from Draft to Publish.
3. Save: Click the Save button.

💡 Pro Tip: Make it Stand Out!

Everyone sends automated birthday texts these days—even your mechanic. To make your patients actually smile (and reply!), we recommend adding a visual touch.

Level 1: The Team Photo Go to a dollar store, buy some cheap party hats, and take a photo of your staff smiling. Uploading this image to the SMS makes it feel 100x more personal than a plain text.

Level 2: The "Boomerang" GIF (Highly Recommended) If you want to look high-tech and fun:

1. Use Instagram to record a "Boomerang" of your team throwing confetti or waving.
2. Save the video to your phone/computer.
3. Go to Google and search for a free "MP4 to GIF" converter.
4. Upload your video and download the GIF file.
5. Upload that GIF into your SMS builder here.

A moving image grabs attention and shows your patients that real humans are behind the screen!
